Troubleshooting: Login and Confirmation Code Issues

This article will help you resolve common difficulties when registering, signing into your account, and confirming your email: the confirmation email does not arrive, the code has expired, captcha error.

Confirmation Email Does Not Arrive

Check Your Spam Folder

Emails from no-reply@whisperer.cc sometimes end up in spam or "Promotions" (Gmail). Check all folders.

Resend the Code

  1. On the confirmation page, click "Resend".
  2. The button is available approximately 60 seconds after the previous send (cooldown).
  3. If the button is unavailable — wait for the cooldown to expire.

Check the Email Address

Make sure the address you used when registering matches the one you are checking. If needed, start the registration again with the correct address.

Confirmation Code Is Not Accepted

Code Expiry

The code is valid for 5 minutes from the time it is sent. If more time has passed — request a new one via "Resend".

Number of Attempts

3 incorrect attempts are allowed. After exhausting attempts — request a new code.

Copy the Code, Do Not Type It Manually

Typing errors are a common cause. Copy the code from the email in full and paste it into the field.

"Incorrect Login or Password" Error

  1. Verify that you are entering the email of the account you registered with.
  2. Make sure CapsLock is off.
  3. Use "Forgot Password?" to reset via email (the link is valid for 24 hours and is one-time use).

For security reasons, the service does not disclose whether an account with a given email exists. If the password reset email did not arrive — check spam or try a different address.

Captcha Error During Login or Registration

Whisperer uses a captcha to protect against bots. If the captcha is not working:

  1. Refresh the page and try again.
  2. Disable your ad blocker (it may interfere with loading the captcha widget).
  3. If your browser is in Incognito mode — switch to regular mode.
  4. Try a different browser (Chrome / Firefox / Safari).

Account Blocked ("Account Frozen")

Your account is restricted. Contact support: support@whisperer.cc.

Desktop Client Pairing — Code Does Not Work

The pairing code is valid for 30 minutes. If it has expired:

  1. Open the web dashboard → /app/connect.
  2. Request a new code.
  3. Enter it in the client within 30 minutes.
