Payment: currencies, methods, promo codes, referrals
Overview
This page describes how Whisperer subscription payment works: which currency you pay in, by which methods, and how promo codes, the referral program, and refunds work. The plan's base price is stored in rubles, while the final currency and amount are determined automatically by your country. Signing up for the subscription itself and comparing plans is covered in Plans and what's included.
When to use
- You want to understand which currency and price your payment will go through at in your country.
- You need to apply a promo code or claim a referral reward.
- A payment failed or a promo code didn't apply — you need to troubleshoot.
- You need a refund.
Currency by country
The currency is determined by country (by IP / Cloudflare's CF-IPCountry header / GeoIP):
- Russia (RU) → RUB. No premium and no conversion — you pay the base ruble price.
- Europe (EU-27 + GB/CH/NO/IS/LI + the Balkans + UA/MD + microstates) → EUR.
- The rest of the world and unknown country → USD.
Currency price formula
price_in_currency = price_rub × 1.30 / CBR_rate, rounded DOWN to a whole unit of currency
- The 1.30 multiplier is a product premium outside Russia. The premium is not applied to discounts and bonuses.
- The rate is taken from the daily-updated official CBR (Central Bank of Russia) rates (USD/RUB, EUR/RUB).
- The result is rounded down to a whole euro/dollar.

Payment confirmation arrives via the payment provider's webhook with signature verification — the subscription is activated after confirmation, not instantly on click.
Promo codes
Two types of promo codes are supported:
percent— a percentage discount off the price.bonus_days— bonus days added to the subscription term.
The promo code is entered when signing up for the subscription. The discount is applied to the price after currency conversion, and the 1.30 premium is not applied to the discount itself.
Referral program
- For each qualifying purchase by someone you invited (a Pro or Max plan), you receive 500 ₽.
- The reward is granted once per invited person — repeat purchases by the same person bring no new reward.
- Share your referral link from the web cabinet.
Refunds
There's no direct self-service cancellation/refund in the dashboard. Refunds are handled through support — contact the support team with your payment details.
Step-by-step
- Choose a plan and period on the plans page — see Plans.
- Check the currency and amount. They're determined automatically by your country (RUB / EUR / USD).
- (Optional) Enter a promo code. A
percentdiscount orbonus_dayswill be applied to the order. - Choose a payment method. For RUB — a MIR card via TBank; for EUR/USD — Visa/Mastercard/Maestro via moneta.ru.
- Complete the payment on the provider's side.
- Wait for confirmation. The subscription is activated after webhook confirmation with signature verification.

Common mistakes
- Payment failed. Check that the card matches the method: MIR — for RUB (TBank), Visa/Mastercard/Maestro — for EUR/USD (moneta.ru). Try another card or retry later; the status updates after webhook confirmation.
- Promo code didn't apply. Make sure the code is valid and fits the chosen plan; remember that the discount is calculated after currency conversion, and the 1.30 premium isn't applied to it.
- Referral reward not granted. The reward is given only for a qualifying purchase (Pro/Max) and once per invited person — repeat purchases don't count.
- I don't see a cancel button. There's no self-service cancellation — for a refund, contact support.
Best practices
- Pay from the country where you're actually located — the currency and amount depend on the detected country.
- Apply the promo code before confirming the order, not after paying.
- Share the referral link with those who genuinely need Pro/Max — the reward is given for a qualifying purchase.
- Keep your payment details (date, amount, method) — they'll speed up refund processing through support.
